as Lila Dixon

Christie is thrilled to be making her Hale Centre Theatre debut as Lila Dixon, a dream role of hers since she saw the Broadway production in 2016. Benicio 'Beni' Bermudez
as Charlie Winslow

Beni is thrilled to be back for his fourth show at Hale. Most recent credits include: Oliver! (Oliver Twist, FHT), Newsies (Les, HCT) and Scrooge! (Tiny Tim, ATC). Beni was recently nominated for an “AriZoni” for Best Youth Actor for A Tale of Bravery (EVCT). When not on stage, Beni enjoys making movies, puppeteering, and perfecting his best Elvis impersonation. Jacob Vella
as Charlie Winslow

Jacob is thrilled to be apart of this amazing show along side so many performers he looks up to! He’d like to thank Dave, Corrin and Cambrian for this opportunity. Jacob began singing and dancing at the age of seven and started working professionally at the age of ten. When not in a show, Jacob loves learning about video editing and production.

Raymond Barcelo
as Danny

Raymond is a Los Angeles native where he appeared in Les Miserables (Thenardier) and Man of La Mancha. Recent Hale credits include: Cinderella (Sebastian), Titanic (Edgar), Beauty and the Beast (Cogsworth), The Little Mermaid (Scuttle/ Chef), Hello, Dolly! (Vandergelder) and The Addams Family (Fester). Raymond has "plenty to be thankful for" and thanks his Fiancé Dominick, Cambrian, Cathy, The Dietlein’s, cast and crew. Dedicated in memory of his brother, Russell.

Rochelle Barton
as Louise

Rochelle is bursting at the seams with joy to once again perform on the Hale stage. She is a classically trained vocalist and graduate of the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in NYC. She has performed in National Tours, Regional Theatres and performs frequently throughout the valley. Favorite roles include: The Scarlet Pimpernel (Marguerite, AriZoni Winner), Thoroughly Modern Millie (Millie), Mary Poppins (Winifred Banks) and Seussical (Gertrude). She has a lullaby album, "Goodnight to the Sun", available on all streaming platforms. Thank you to the entire Hale Theatre team for the incredible opportunity and giving her a home away from home. Biggest thanks to her family for all the love, endless support and helping her to always follow her dreams.

Reece Harris
as Stanley/Radio Announcer/MC/Ensemble/Jim u.s.

Reece has performed in numerous shows on the Hale stage, most recently in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. Ashley is a Southern California native. She was trained at Inland Pacific Ballet and American Ballet Theatre in New York City. Ashley spent twelve years performing at Disneyland and holds a B.A. from California State University Fullerton. Theater credits: Evita, Legally Blonde, Anything Goes, West Side Story, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, Thoroughly Modern Millie, Joseph, Meet Me in St. Louis, A Christmas Carol, No No Nannette, Singin’ in the Rain, Newsies, Hello, Dolly!, Guys and Dolls, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, Mary Poppins, Brigadoon, Footloose and 42nd Street. Payten Christopher McLeod

Growing up at Childsplay, Payten has been acting since he was four in productions all over the valley. Albert Mendoza

Albert is happy to be performing back at Hale! He was most recently seen in Joseph.. Dreamcoat (Benjamin). This summer he was in his favorite Hale production of Newsies (Albert). Before theatre, Albert trained and performed with Christian Dance Company in the Spirit of Christmas Show. He’d like to thank friends, family and teachers for helping him get where he is today!

Truman Regard-Whiple

Truman is honored to be performing again at Hale. He was most recently seen in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (Reuben), Newsies (Crutchie), My Fair Lady (Ensemble), A Christmas Carol (Dick Wilkins) and Fiddler on the Roof (Ensemble). Reegan Regard-Whipple
as Ensemble

Reegan is thrilled to have another opportunity to perform on Hale stage! He was most recently seen in their summer show, Newsies, and helped to fill in for some of the performances of Joseph...Dreamcoat. Performing at the Hale has been such an amazing experience for Reegan and he is honored to to get to work with this wonderful cast and crew! He would also like to give a huge thanks to the directing team and everyone involved in this production for bringing this show to life!

Bennett Allen Wood
as Ensemble

Bennett is thrilled to begin the holiday season at the Holiday Inn! This is Bennett’s nineteenth Hale production and sixth this year. Some other credits include: Fly More Than You Fall (World Premiere, Broadway World Winner), RENT (Angel), Into the Woods (Jack) and Nevermore (Edgar Allan Poe). Bennett would love to thank his family, friends, and boyfriend for their endless love and support, Dave, Corrin, Cambrian, Cathy, Laurel and the rest of the cast and crew for pulling together this beast of a show. Gracie Gamble
as Linda Mason u.s.

Gracie has been doing theater since she was nine and hopes to continue life on the stage as much as she can. She’s had the honor of performing on the Hale stage a handful of times in productions such as Fiddler on the Roof (Hodel), See How They Run (Penelope) and Titanic (Kate Mullins / Madeline Astor).

Justin Howell
as Danny u.s.

Justin is honored to return to the Hale stage. Justin was last seen performing in My Fair Lady. Favorite roles include The Tempest (Prospero) and Pippin (Charlemagne), both during his time at UCLA. As always, his performance is dedicated to the memory of his mentor Al Muller and Harvey Jordan. Many thanks for coming to the show and much love to Cambrian, Corrin and Dave.

Kira Galindo
as Louise u.s.

Previous Hale credits include: Fiddler on the Roof (Fruma-Sarah), My Fair Lady, Titanic and most recently, Cinderella. Kira has a Bachelor’s Degree in performance and has been working professionally for 20+ years. Some of her favorite credits include: Cinderella (Madame), Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson (Narrator), Bat Boy (Maredith), and Jesus Christ Super Star (Ensemble). Kira would love to thank her family and friends for their constant support and love, Mr. Mikus and General McArthur Hambrick, for being two of the most life-changing individuals, her rocket scientist husband “no spoilers”, and her mom. “Third role aisle seat we’re almost there.”

Sarah Cleeland
as Ensemble Swing

Sarah is originally from St. Louis but moved to Phoenix in 2019. She has performed around the valley in various productions including: The Marvelous Wonderettes (Betty Jean), 42nd Street (Anytime Annie), Dirty Rotten Scoundrels (Jolene), and most recently, Newsies (Mush / Katherine Plumber u.s.). Congrats to the cast, and a super special thank you to Ponce for being the most wonderful and supportive husband a theatre girl could ask for. 

Greg Rawlings
as Ensemble Swing

Greg was most recently seen as Andy Lee in 42nd Street. Other Hale credits include Mary Poppins (Neleus/Ensemble), Thoroughly Modern Millie (Ensemble), and Seven Brides for Seven Brothers (Daniel). Greg had the opportunity to perform on tours around the United States, China, and Europe as a member of BYU's International Folk Dance Ensemble. Thanks to his wife Sally and an amazing support system of family and friends that made this possible!

Cambrian James
Director / Choreographer

Cambrian James is well-known for his versatile staging throughout the Valley and nationally. He is a multi-award winning director and choreographer for Tarzan, The Wizard of Oz, Footloose, Damn Yankees and Dirty Rotten Scoundrels. Cambrian has enjoyed a long career as an actor and dancer in Annie (Daddy Warbucks), Crazy For You (Bobby Child), The King and I (The King) and Hairspray (Edna Turnblad).

Cathy Hauan
Music Director

Dr. Cathy Hauan recently retired from Mesa Community College, where she taught voice and musical theatre. There she served as conductor/pianist for 65 musicals since 2001. Favorites include Parade, Sweeney Todd, The Secret Garden, and Beauty and the Beast. She has 2 ariZoni Awards. Cathy received her DMA in Vocal Performance from ASU. Onstage she has appeared in opera, oratorio, and music theater. Favorite roles include Sister Mary Amnesia (Nunsense) and as a little old lady in The Producers (which she was also conducting).
