Tim Dietlein
as Ebenezer Scrooge

Tim started his theater career at the ripe old age of six months where he played the part of a baby. To this date, it was, and still is his finest performance. The theater bug bit him hard, and so Tim has been involved in theater, in one capacity or the other, for over 50 years. The last thirty-five years saw him working as a director and actor in the Los Angeles area where he was directly involved in hundreds of productions.

Joey Morrison
as Ebenezer Scrooge u.s.

Joey is ecstatic to return to Hale this holiday season! He has loved playing Bob Cratchit for the last two years, and was last seen in The Andrews Brothers earlier this Spring. Favorite Hale credits include Annie (Daddy Warbucks), Cash on Delivery (George), Singin’ in the Rain (RF Simpson), and Newsies (Pulitzer). Joey earned his MFA in Acting from LSU.

Miles Romney
as Bob Cratchit

Miles reprises the role of Bob Cratchit for his sixth year! Miles has also appeared on the Hale stage in Forever Plaid (Sparky). Most recently, he was seen in Farinelli and the King (Farinelli), in the play's post-Broadway debut at Southwest Shakespeare Company. Other favorite credits include Les Miserables (Javert), Monteverdi's L'incoronazione di Poppea (Ottone), and Madame Butterfly (Pinkerton). Miles is also a Managing Partner of 42nd Club, a six-time Tony winner and co-producer of three-dozen shows including Moulin Rouge!, Hadestown, Parade, and A Christmas Carol.

Cameron Rollins
as Fred / Businessman

Cameron is thrilled to be in his third production of A Christmas Carol at Hale! After serving in the United States Marine Corps, Cameron pursued a degree in film and continued his love for theater while in college. He was seen recently in Beauty and the Beast (Gaston) and is a two time Arizoni award nominee (The Scarlet Pimpernel, Bright Star). He wants to thank Dave and Corrin for their trust and his wife Veronica for her support.

Karl Haas
as Marley / Old Joe

Karl Haas is thrilled to reprise this role at Hale! Recent credits include: The Gazebo (Harlow), The Hit (Slavo), Wait Until Dark (Carlino). Karl can also be seen in Instant Karma (Homeless Harry) on Amazon Prime. Stagework includes: Guys and Dolls (Benny), Spamalot (King Arthur), Deathtrap (Sidney Bruhl), Witness for the Prosecution (Sir Wilfrid Robarts), and White Christmas (General Waverly). Karl is a retired Army Lieutenant-Colonel. He holds a BFA from Miami University. Karl loves Bessie, his biggest fan!

Brie Wadsworth-Gates
as Christmas Past / Christina / Laundress / Head Mourner

Brie is most noted for her recent work in Beauty and the Beast (Belle), Fiddler on the Roof (Tzeitel), 42nd Street (Peggy Sawyer), Bye Bye Birdie (Kim MacAfee), Lucky Stiff (Annabel Glick), and Brigadoon (Meg Brockie). Other: Secret Garden (Martha), Seussical (Cat in the Hat), two-time recipient for the Open Jar Institute Scholarship, KCACTF Irene Ryan Participant and two-time ariZoni nominee. She thanks her husband DJ, her family, Dave and Corrin, Cambrian, Lincoln, and her wonderful cast and crew.

Trevon Powell
as Christmas Present / Businessman / Poulterer

Trevon is from the great city of Chicago, IL. Favorite credits include: Tarzan (Terk), Hairspray (Seaweed J. Stubs), Sweeny Todd (Beadle Bamford), The Little Mermaid (Sebastian), Sister Act (Eddie Souther), Next To Normal (Dr. Madden), The Andrews Brothers (Lawrence Andrews), The Unsinkable Molly Brown (Christmas Morgan), and most recently, Something’s Afoot (Nigel Rancour). He has also recently directed Sweeney Todd at Greasepaint Theater and works in costume designing. He is partnered with the Tempe History Museum in creating costumes for historical interpretation work. Trevon is newly married to his wonderful husband who supports his ambitions wholeheartedly and plans to move to NYC together. Trevon also loves ice cream. Get him ice cream. 

Tyler Durfee
as Young Scrooge / Robert

Tyler made his Hale debut this summer in Beauty and the Beast and is so excited to return. He has been performing his whole life in all sorts of capacities from school choirs to community theater to family puppet shows. Some of his recent and favorite credits include The Addams Family (Lucas), Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (the one with the coat), and Into the Woods (Cinderella's Prince). Outside of performing Tyler enjoys rock climbing, reading, and self development. He'd like to thank his parents for instilling a love of music and performing. He hopes you enjoy the show!

Lily Nelson
as Belle / Narrator

Lily Nelson is thrilled to be a part of A Christmas Carol at Hale Centre Theatre! Lily’s recent credits include: Sister Act (Sister Mary Robert, HCT) and Mean Girls (Regina George, AYT). Her favorite credits include: Freaky Friday (Katherine Blake), Little Women (Jo March), and Bonnie and Clyde (Bonnie Parker). Lily would like to thank Dave, Corrine, Lincoln, and Cambrian for the opportunity.

Jared Kitch
as Mr. Fezziwig / Charityman / Undertaker

Jared is very excited to be returning to Hale for another year of holiday cheer. His most recent credits include: Little Shop of Horrors (Audrey II) and 9 to 5 (Franklin Hart Jr.) both at Mesa Encore Theatre, as well as Sister Act (Curtis Jackson) here at Hale. He would like to thank his friends and family for their constant support, as well as the cast and crew for the chance to celebrate the holiday season with them for another year!

Zac Bushman
as Narrator / Charityman / Jenkins / Topper / Businessman

Zac is thrilled to be returning to Hale for his second show. He has been seen previously in Beauty and the Beast (Beast), Chess (Freddy), and The Hunchback of Notre Dame (Captain Phoebus). Big thanks to Dave, Corrin, Cambrian, and Lincoln!

Karissa Anderson
as Fred's Wife / Ensemble / Belle u.s.

Karissa is excited to be returning to the Hale stage. Some of her favorite previous credits have been: South Pacific (Nellie), Sleeping Beauty (Aurora), Taming of the Shrew (Bianca), Murder in Paradise (Reggie), and Into the Woods (Cinderella). When off-stage, Karissa treasures spending time with her amazing family. She also adores her job making magic for hundreds of children as a birthday party princess performer. “Thank you so much to the incredible cast, crew, and artistic team of A Christmas Carol for this experience.”

Truman Regard-Whipple
as Dick Wilkins / Ensemble

Truman is honored to be taking to the stage again here at Hale! He is excited to perform again after being featured in Fiddler on the Roof (Mendel), and Bye Bye Birdie (Hugo Peabody). He is thrilled to bring the character of Dick Wilkins to life while performing alongside such a wonderful cast and crew. He would also like to thank the directing team for making this show possible!

Diana Stapley
as Topper's Girl / Ensemble

Diana is thrilled to be back at Hale for her second year of A Christmas Carol! She was most recently seen in Steel Magnolias (Shelby Eatenton-Latcherie). Other HCT credits include: Beauty and the Beast, Bye Bye Birdie, and 42nd Street. Outside of theatre, she is currently pursuing her Bachelor's degree at ASU. Diana expresses immense gratitude to Dave, Corrin, Cambrian, and the entire Hale cast and crew. "Enjoy the show!"

Gillian Elliott
as Mrs. Cratchit / Mrs. Fezziwig / Narrator / Charwoman

Gillian is thrilled to be back on the Hale stage! Most recently seen in Fiddler on the Roof, some past Hale credits include: Something’s Afoot (Lady Grace Manley-Prowe) and Beauty and the Beast (Ensemble, US Mrs. Potts/Madame de la Grande Bouche). Other: Sweeney Todd (Mrs. Lovett , MCC), Into the Woods (Baker’s Wife, CGCC, Irene Ryan Semifinalist), and Sister Act (Mother Superior, AZ Premiere, AriZoni Award). Hannah Taylor
as Martha Cratchit / Fezziwig Party /   Beggar Woman

Hannah is absolutely thrilled to be making her Hale debut! Some of her favorite past credits include: The Mystery of Edwin Drood (Helena Landless), Romeo and Juliet (Mercutio), and Leading Ladies (Meg Snider). Outside of performing, she loves teaching music to her students at Phoenix Children's Academy. She would love to express gratitude to her wonderful husband Zane, and to her family for all their love and support. “Merry Christmas!”

Kylan Chait
as Peter Cratchit / Sled Boy / Fezziwig Party

Kylan is excited to be back on the Hale stage where he was last seen as Tiny Tim in A Christmas Carol. Favorite credits include: Newsies (Crutchie, Theatre Works). The Prom (Trent, SYT), Elf (Michael, PTC), 13 The Musical (Archie, Greasepaint), and The Little Mermaid (Flounder, VYT). Beatrice Romney
as Belinda Cratchit / Little Fan

Beatrice is happy to be in her sixth A Christmas Carol production with her father and sister. Previously seen at Hale in Mary Poppins (Jane Banks) and A Christmas Carol (Carol Cratchit), she loves being on the stage and hopes to continue to grow as a performer. Besides acting, she enjoys playing her harp, fashion, and being the funniest member of her family. 

Cole Douglas Vinson
as Doug Cratchit / Boy Scrooge / Beggar Boy / Boy in Courtyard

Cole is thrilled to return to Hale and is honored to join the cast of A Christmas Carol! Cole's favorite past credits include; Beauty and the Beast (Chip, HCT), The Music Man (Winthrop, CSA), Aladdin Jr. (Genie, CSA), Seussical Jr. (Sour Kangaroo, CSA), and Matilda Jr. (Bruce, CSA). He would like to thank Center Stage Academy for helping him grow, not only as a performer but as a person! Cole would also like to thank his family, friends, and village for their love and support… but most of all, his mom and dad, who make it all possible.

Gigi Romney
as Carol Cratchit / Want / Sled Girl /    Jenkins' Daughter

Gigi is more excited every year to do A Christmas Carol with her family. She plays the drums and loves to sing. She also enjoys reading, math, origami and everything to do with nature. She would like to thank her family and friends for their love and support, and you for coming to see the show!

Maxwell Harrison
as Tiny Tim / Ignorance

Maxwell is taking the stage for his 2nd year performing at Hale in A Christmas Carol. He is 9 years old and in 4th grade. Maxwell enjoys playing flag football, lacrosse and basketball and loves being on stage. He is grateful for this opportunity to perform in such a fun production.

Kira Galindo
as Mrs. Cratchit u.s. 

Kira is overjoyed to be sharing this wonderful story with all audiences this Christmas season. Favorite roles: Fiddler On The Roof (Furma -Sarah), Roger and Hammerstein’s Cinderella (Madam), Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson (The Narrator), Pump Boys and Dinettes (Rhetta Cupp), and Bat Boy the Musical (Meredith). Kira has BA in Performance and has toured internationally, opened in Las Vegas, and has performed Off Broadway in NYC. Thanks to her family, friends, Mr. Mikus, General, her Rocket Scientist husband, for all their support and love. “Third row aisle seat Mom, we’re almost there.”

Bennett Allen Wood
as Young Scrooge u.s. / Dick Wilkins u.s. / Peter Cratchit u.s.

Bennett is thrilled to finally be a part of Hale’s magical Christmas tradition! This is Bennett’s thirteenth Hale production and seventh this year! Some other credits include: Fly More Than You Fall (World Premiere, Broadway World Winner), RENT (Angel), Into the Woods (Jack), and Nevermore (Edgar Allan Poe). Bennett would love to thank his family, friends, and boyfriend for their endless love and support, Dave, Corrin, as well as Cambrian, Lincoln, and the rest of the cast and crew for spreading Christmas cheer together. Ariana Mai Lucius

Ariana is overjoyed to be blessed with the opportunity to be a part of this holiday classic for her 8th Christmas season! Favorite credits in the Valley include: Little Women (Beth), Hairspray (Penny), …Spelling Bee (Logainne), and Young Frankenstein (Inga). David Dietlein
Director

David Hale Dietlein has been involved with theater ever since his early days in California where his parents and grandparents commandeered him onstage as a child actor. David is the Artistic Director of the Hale Theatre - Arizona. Originally from Los Angeles, David has produced over 300 stage productions. He has received many awards for his artistic achievements. This will be Dave’s 20th year directing A Christmas Carol at Hale Theatre. David and Corrin Dietlein own and operate the Hale Theatre.

Cambrian James
Choreographer

Cambrian James is well-known for his versatile staging throughout the Valley and nationally. He is a multi-award winning director and choreographer for Tarzan, The Wizard of Oz, Footloose, Damn Yankees and Dirty Rotten Scoundrels. Cambrian has enjoyed a long career as an actor and dancer in Annie (Daddy Warbucks), Crazy For You (Bobby Child), The King and I (The King) and Hairspray (Edna Turnblad).

Lincoln Wright
Music Director

Lincoln Wright was last seen on the Hale stage playing the piano for Always... Patsy Cline, Forever Plaid, and Daddy Long Legs. He has music directed over 50 shows at Hale, including Meet Me in St. Louis, West Side Story, Crazy For You, and Hairspray. When not at rehearsal, he's a lawyer with the Udall Shumway law firm in Mesa.
