Rob is delighted to be back on stage in his robe and nightcap! They’re incredibly fashionable! Rob’s favorite Hale Theatre credits include: To Kill a Mockingbird (Atticus Finch), My Fair Lady (Henry Higgins), The 39 Steps (Richard Hannay), The Music Man (Harold Hill), The Diary of Anne Frank (Otto Frank) and Little Shop of Horrors (The Dentist). Joey Morrison
as Ebenezer Scrooge

Joey is thrilled to return again and work on this amazing story! He was most recently seen in last year's production of A Christmas Carol (Ebenezer Scrooge). Past Hale credits include: Annie, Cash on Delivery, Singin’ in the Rain, Big River, Newsies and The Andrews Brothers. Some of his favorite credits include: Assassins (The Proprietor, SCT), Romeo and Juliet (Friar Lawrence), Frankenstein (Hans Metz) and Rumors (Lenny). Bryan Stewart
as Bob Cratchit

Bryan is thrilled to be back on the Hale stage as Bob Cratchit for the 6th time, having last been seen in Titanic: The Musical (Captain E.J. Smith) and The Scarlet Pimpernel (Chauvelin, AriZoni Nomination). Other credits include: The Music Man (Harold Hill), Bright Star (Mayor Josiah Dobbs), The Sound of Music (Captain von Trapp), Hunchback of Notre Dame (Clopin), Ragtime (Tateh, AriZoni Award), 1776 (Rutledge), Godspell (Jesus), Phantom (The Phantom), Oklahoma! (Curly), The Secret Garden (Archibald Craven), and Brigadoon (Tommy). Many thanks go to this talented cast and crew for their hard work in telling this beautiful story.

Daniel Karapetian
as Fred / Businessman

Daniel is an actor, stage manager, graphic designer, and a graduate of the New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts. He has spent the past two years stage managing concerts in the brand new Hale Concert Hall. Selected credits include: Footloose (Willard), Forever Plaid (Sparky), Life Could Be a Dream (Wally), Fiddler on the Roof (Fyedka), Flat Stanley (Stanley) and the Alaska Cabin Nite Dinner Theater in Denali National Park. He thanks his friends and family for their love and support!

Karl Haas
as Marley / Old Joe

Karl is thrilled to reprise this role at Hale! He was most recently seen in The Gazebo (Harlow), The Hit (Slavo), and Wait Until Dark (Carlino). Karl can be seen on Amazon Prime in Instant Karma (Homeless Harry). Other theater credits include: Guys and Dolls (Benny), Spamalot (King Arthur), Deathtrap (Sidney Bruhl), Witness for the Prosecution (Sir Wilfrid Robarts) and White Christmas (General Waverly). Karl is a retired Army Lieutenant-Colonel and holds a BFA from Miami University (Oxford, Ohio). Karl loves Bessie, his biggest fan!!!

Karissa Anderson
as Christmas Past / Christina / Laundress / Head Mourner

Karissa is so happy to be returning to the Hale stage for her 3rd year in A Christmas Carol. Some of her favorite past credits include: South Pacific (Nellie), Sleeping Beauty (Aurora), The Taming of the Shrew (Bianca) and Into the Woods (Cinderella). When off-stage, Karissa’s most treasured way to spend time is with her amazing family. She also adores her job making magic for hundreds of children as a birthday party princess performer. Trevon Powell
as Christmas Present / Businessman / Poulterer

Trevon hails from the great city of Chicago. Favorite credits include: Tarzan: The Musical (Terk), Hairspray (Seaweed J. Stubs), Sweeney Todd (Beadle Bamford), The Little Mermaid (Sebastian), Sister Act: The Musical (Eddie Souther), Next to Normal (Dr. Madden), The Andrews Brothers (Lawrence Andrews), The Unsinkable Molly Brown (Christmas Morgan), Something's Afoot (Nigel Rancour) and Titanic: The Musical (Lightoller). He has also directed Sweeney Todd (Greasepaint) and works in costume and designing at various local theatres. He is partnered with the Tempe History Museum in creating historical costumes for historical interpretation work. He also loves classic music, sings opera and plans to move to NYC. Joshua South
as Young Scrooge / Robert

Joshua is jollied up to reprise his role as Young Scrooge in HCT’s A Christmas Carol! He was most recently seen in HCT’s productions of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (Simeon) and Newsies (Race). Other favorite shows at HCT include: Titanic (Hartley), Fiddler on the Roof (Fyedka), Beauty and the Beast (LeFou) and 42nd Street. Mark Kleinman

Mark is thrilled to return to the Hale stage for this beautiful production! Mark is an AriZoni winner for Best Actor and twice as Best Supporting Actor for roles played at Hale. He particularly enjoyed the opportunity to play Scrooge for several years on this stage along with leading roles in Joseph…Dreamcoat, South Pacific, My Fair Lady, Me and My Girl, Heaven Can Wait, You Can’t Take it With You and many more. Mark’s career has included time with the Des Moines Metro Opera, the Orlando Opera, the DiCapra Opera Theater and the Black Friars Shakespeare Co., both in NYC. Continued thanks to Dave, Corrin, Cambrian, Lincoln, the Hale staff and production teams, family and friends. 

Noah Delgado
as Narrator / Charityman / Jenkins / Topper / Businessman

Noah is thrilled to be returning to A Christmas Carol! Credits include: Fiddler on the Roof (Perchik, HCT), Forever Plaid (Frankie, HCT), Eddie & Vinnie (Eddie, Childsplay) and Luna & Solis (Aaron, Brelby Productions). He is a co-founder of the Valley Players theatre company, as well as a writer and dramaturg with a passion for innovative performance. He is an ASU graduate with degrees in Journalism and Theatre. Diana is thrilled to return to Hale for her third year in A Christmas Carol! Most recently, she was seen jumping rope in the ensemble of Holiday Inn. Her previous HCT credits include: Steel Magnolias (Shelby), Joseph... Dreamcoat, Cinderella, Newsies, My Fair Lady and Beauty and the Beast. Diana extends her heartfelt thanks to Dave, Corrin, Cambrian, Lincoln, and the entire cast and crew for making this holiday experience so unforgettable.

Truman Regard-Whipple
as Dick Wilkins / Ensemble

Truman is thrilled to return to the Hale stage, reprising the role of Dick Wilkins in A Christmas Carol! Recent credits include: Joseph...Dreamcoat (Reuben), Newsies (Crutchie), My Fair Lady (Ensemble) and Fiddler on the Roof (Ensemble). Truman is excited to bring his passion and energy to this role, and is grateful to share the stage with such a talented cast, crew, and creative team.

Ava Cusiter
as Topper's Girl / Ensemble

Ava is thrilled to be spending her holiday season here at Hale! Some of her favorite Hale credits include Beauty and the Beast (Silly Girl) and Newsies (Splasher). Other credits include A Chorus Line (Judy Turner) and Saturday Night Fever (Doreen) at The Laguna Playhouse. Ava is currently pursuing a BM in Music Theatre with minors in Educational Studies and Dance at Arizona State University. Ava thanks her family and friends for the support. @avacusiter

Savannah Swiatkowski

Reegan Regard-Whipple
as Peter Cratchit / Sled Boy / Fezziwig Party

Reegan is thrilled to have another opportunity to perform on the Hale stage! He was most recently seen in Holiday Inn (Ensemble). Performing at the Hale has been such an amazing experience for Reegan and he is honored to to get to work with this wonderful cast and crew! He would also like to give a huge thanks to the directing team and everyone involved in the production for bringing the show to life and for including him in this yearly holiday tradition! Iris VanSlyke
as Belinda Cratchit / Little Fan

Iris is so exited to be returning to Hale. Iris is a sophomore at Desert Ridge High School and some of her favorite past credits include: Godspell (Anna Maria, Zao Theatre), The Music Man (Zanetta, Zao Theatre), The Secret Garden (Mary, Inspire), You're a Good Man Charlie Brown (Snoopy, AYT), Newsies Jr. (Racetrack, AYT) and Zombie Prom (Toffee, AYT). Iris would like to thank the production team for the opportunity and she sends all her love to her mom, dad, and siblings.

Cole Douglas Vinson
as Doug Cratchit / Boy Scrooge / Beggar Boy / Boy in Courtyard

Cole is thrilled to return to Hale and is honored to join the cast of A Christmas Carol! Cole's favorite past credits include: Beauty and the Beast (Chip, HCT), The Music Man (Winthrop, CSA), Aladdin Jr. (Genie, CSA), Seussical Jr. (Sour Kangaroo, CSA) and Matilda Jr. (Bruce, CSA). He would like to thank Center Stage Academy for helping him grow, not only as a performer but as a person! Cole would also like to thank his family, friends, and village for their love and support… but most of all, his mom and dad, who make it all possible.

Avenly Neal
as Carol Cratchit / Want / Sled Girl / Jenkins' Daughter

Avenly is very excited to make her acting debut at Hale! When she is not on stage, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends and hanging out with her chickens. She would like to thank her family and friends for their encouragement and support.

Miles VanSlyke
as Tiny Tim / Ignorance

Miles is excited to make his debut at Hale! He is 9 years old. Some of his favorite previous shows include The Music Man (Winthrop, Zao) and Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer (Young Rudolph, AYT). He likes turtles, reading, video games, borrowing your phone, singing and Christmas! He is thrilled to share the stage with his big sister Iris. He thanks everyone at Hale for this opportunity and sends big hugs to his family.

David Dietlein
Director

David Hale Dietlein has been involved with theater ever since his early days in California where his parents and grandparents commandeered him onstage as a child actor. David is the Artistic Director of the Hale Theatre - Arizona. Originally from Los Angeles, David has produced over 300 stage productions. He has received many awards for his artistic achievements. This will be Dave’s 20th year directing A Christmas Carol at Hale Theatre. David and Corrin Dietlein own and operate the Hale Theatre.

Cambrian James
Choreographer

Cambrian James is well-known for his versatile staging throughout the Valley and nationally. He is a multi-award winning director and choreographer for Tarzan, The Wizard of Oz, Footloose, Damn Yankees and Dirty Rotten Scoundrels. Cambrian has enjoyed a long career as an actor and dancer in Annie (Daddy Warbucks), Crazy For You (Bobby Child), The King and I (The King) and Hairspray (Edna Turnblad).

Lincoln Wright
Music Director

Lincoln Wright was last seen on the Hale stage playing the piano for Always... Patsy Cline, Forever Plaid, and Daddy Long Legs. He has music directed over 50 shows at Hale, including Meet Me in St. Louis, West Side Story, Crazy For You, and Hairspray. When not at rehearsal, he's a lawyer with the Udall Shumway law firm in Mesa.
