Roger Bean created the long-running Off-Broadway smash hit The Marvelous Wonderettes (Westside Theatre), along with the sequels Wonderettes: Caps & Gowns, Winter Wonderettes, and Wonderettes: Dream On. Original cast albums for all Wonderettes shows are available from iTunes and Amazon. The Marvelous Wonderettes received the 2007 LA Ovation Award for Best Musical for its record-breaking Los Angeles run and continues to be an audience favorite in regional and amateur theatre companies throughout the country. Mr. Bean’s doo-wop hit Sh-Boom! Life Could Be A Dream had a record-breaking 12-month run in Los Angeles, receiving the Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle Award, the LA Weekly Theatre Award, and the Backstage Garland Award for Outstanding Musical.

Mr. Bean wrote and created the popular jukebox musicals Summer of Love, The Andrews Brothers, Route 66, Honky Tonk Laundry, and Why Do Fools Fall In Love?, all currently available through Broadway Licensing. Additional musicals created by Mr. Bean include Don’t Touch That Dial!, That's Amoré, and Beach Blanket Bash.

Reprising his role from 2018, Vinny returns for his 19th Hale production after appearing in West Side Story (Bernardo, ariZoni nominee) and Me & My Girl (Bill, ariZoni winner). Jack Walton
as Eugene Johnson

Jack is excited to be back on stage at Hale! Jack has performed in many theatres across the Valley and was recently nominated for an AriZoni award for his performance in Something Rotten (Nick Bottom, MCC). Other favorite credits include: American Idiot (Johnny, SCP/Greasepaint), RENT (Mark Cohen, SCP/Greasepaint), and Newsies (Pulitzer, VYT). Special thanks to the creative team at Hale for this wonderful opportunity to perform with this amazing cast. Much love to his family, both given and chosen, for their continued support.

Brandt Norris
as Wally Patton

Brandt is thrilled to be back on the Hale stage for his 10th show! Past credits include: 42nd Street (Billy Lawlor), Beauty and The Beast (Lumiere), and Fiddler on the Roof (Motel). Regional credits include: Mystic Pizza (Ensemble/Tim Understudy) at the Engeman, and Footloose (Teen Ensemble) at the St. Louis Muny. He wants to thank his friends and family for always supporting him. He also wants to thank Cambrian, Lincoln, Dave, and Corrin for giving him this special opportunity!

Kale Burr
as Duke Henderson

Kale is so excited to return to this thrilling show after playing Eugene in the 2018 production here at Hale! Favorite Hale credits: Footloose (Ren McCormack), West Side Story (Riff), and A Christmas Carol (Young Scrooge). Other favorites: Newsies (Jack Kelly), RENT (Roger), The Secret Garden (Dickon), and The Music Man in Concert (Tommy Djilas). Kale can also be seen on-screen in ads with the NFL, Harkins Theaters, and Arlo Security. He expresses his endless gratitude to the cast, creative team, and his friends and family for their never-ending support.

Brie Wadsworth-Gates
as Lois Franklin

Brie is elated to return to Hale stage, most noted for her recent work in: Beauty and the Beast (Belle), 42nd Street (Peggy Sawyer), Bye Bye Birdie (Kim MacAfee), Lucky Stiff (Annabel Glick), and Brigadoon (Meg Brockie). Other: Secret Garden (Martha), Seussical (Cath in the Hat), two-time recipient for the Open Jar Institute Scholarship, KCACTF Irene Ryan Participant and two-time ariZoni nominee. Reece Harris

Joseph is originally from Mississippi where he got his BFA in musical theatre from the University of Mississippi. His past Hale credits include: Bye Bye Birdie, Beauty and the Beast, The Little Mermaid, and Footloose. Additional credits: The Secret Garden, and Little Women at Places Productions, and Chicago, Assassins, Macbeth, and Hair at Ole Miss Theatre. Stephen Tessier
Bass

Stephen lives in Chandler with his wife Tiffany and has been playing string bass/electric bass for the past 20 years. He is a member of the Tempe Symphony Orchestra and has performed in dozens of musical productions over the years. Many thanks to the Dietleins, Lincoln, and cast and crew. Greg Slater
Drums

"It is always a pleasure to perform at Hale." Recent credits include: A Tribute to Loretta Lynn & Patsy Cline and Glen Campbell, John Denver & Kenny Rodgers: A Tribute. Additional credits include: Chaps, The Andrews Brothers, Lucky Stiff and the multi-year sellout hit, Always, Patsy Cline. Greg also enjoys flying and hiking. He earned his GA Pilot's License in 2010, and successfully summited Kilimanjaro (Africa), Island Peak and Everest Base Camp Himalayan Mountains (Nepal).

Cambrian James
Director & Choreographer

Cambrian James is well-known for his versatile staging throughout the Valley and nationally. He is a multi-award winning director and choreographer for Tarzan, The Wizard of Oz, Footloose, Damn Yankees and Dirty Rotten Scoundrels. Cambrian has enjoyed a long career as an actor and dancer in Annie (Daddy Warbucks), Crazy For You (Bobby Child), The King and I (The King) and Hairspray (Edna Turnblad).

Lincoln Wright
Music Director / Piano

Lincoln Wright was last seen on the Hale stage playing the piano for Always... Patsy Cline, Forever Plaid, and Daddy Long Legs. He has music directed over 50 shows at Hale, including Meet Me in St. Louis, West Side Story, Crazy For You, and Hairspray. When not at rehearsal, he's a lawyer with the Udall Shumway law firm in Mesa.
