Lana Shumway
as Truvy Jones

Lana (Truvy Jones) is excited to make her Hale Theatre debut in her favorite show, Steel Magnolias! Some other favorite roles include, Amalia Balash in She Loves Me, Maria in The Sound of Music (Zoni award-Best Actress), The Witch (Into the Woods), and voicing Franc the Fairy (12 Princesses, Amazon Studios Best Actress Nominee). Lana also enjoys doing local commercials for Spencer’s and Express Flooring. She is grateful for her husband, Porter and their four amazing children!

Kamie Tierce
as Annelle Dupuy-Desoto

Kamie (Annelle Dupuy-Desoto) is thrilled to be returning to the Hale Center Theatre and reprising the role of Annelle. She is honored to be playing onstage with these talented ladies, delighted to be directed by Jere, and thankful Dave and Corrin made this show happen! Her favorite roles to play are wife to Evan and mama to Nova.

Diana Stapley
as Shelby Eatenton-Latcherie

Diana (Shelby Eatenton-Latcherie) is delighted to be back at Hale with this fantastic cast and crew! She was most recently seen this past summer in Beauty and the Beast. Previous HCT credits include: 42nd Street, Bye Bye Birdie and A Christmas Carol. Outside of theatre, she is currently pursuing her Bachelor's Degree at ASU. Diana expresses immense gratitude to Jere, Dave, and Corrin for trusting her with this momentous role. "Enjoy the show!"

Kathleen Richards
as Ouiser Boudreaux

Kathleen Richards (Ouiser Boudreaux) was last seen as Mrs. Potts (Beauty and the Beast). Previous HCTAZ appearances include Annie, Scarlet Pimpernel, Sister Act, Big River, Guys and Dolls, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, Mary Poppins, Nunsense, Footloose, Music Man, Lucky Stiff, Bye Bye Birdie and 42nd Street. Other favorite local productions include, Sound of Music (PTC), and Hello Dolly! (MET). When not in rehearsal or on stage, she is happily working with kids in theater education. "Thanks to Jere, Dave, and Corrin for this opportunity. Love to Scott, Amelia, Gwendolyn, Mom & Dad who make it all possible!"

Linsey Maxson
as M'Lynn Eatenton

Linsey Maxson (M'Lynn Eatenton) is thrilled to be back at Hale playing M'Lynn! Favorite Roles: Belle (Beauty and the Beast), Margaurite (Scarlet Pimpernel), Narrator (Joseph), Cathy (Last Five Years), Amalia (She Loves Me), and Kate (Kiss Me Kate). Find her on Rob Gardner's original cast recordings of Lamb of God as Martha, on Blackbeard as Mary, as well as the role of January in his Amazon Studios award winning 12 Princesses. Polly Chapman
as Clairee Belcher

Polly Chapman (Clairee Belcher) is pleased to be making her Hale debut. She holds a Masters of Fine Arts in theater and acting. She has directed and choreographed for young people of all ages both in her own musical theater school (Do Re Mi School of the Arts) and at Scottsdale Community College. Polly has appeared in productions at Actors Theater, Stray Cat Theater and Stage Left Productions. In addition to directing, choreographing, acting and teaching, Polly spent 35 years as the Fry's Food Store spokesperson. She would like to thank Jeff and her family for their constant and loving encouragement.

Megan Scott
as Truvy Jones u.s. / M'Lynn Eatenton u.s.

Megan Scott (Truvy Jones u.s. / M'Lynn Eatenton u.s.) has been training as an actor for six years. She hears that she's good at it, but is a bit shy about putting her work into the world. She's slowly overcoming that fear of being seen and has now been featured in the short films Plus One and Superstar, both produced locally by Save the Airwaves. She's written and performed a solo show, Jetaime, for small audiences in the valley, and now is stepping into the theater world. Steel Magnolias is her first theater production. She’s looking forward to continuing the adventure. 

Karissa Anderson
as Annelle Dupuy-Desoto u.s. / Shelby Eatenton-Latcherie u.s.

Karissa (Annelle Dupuy-Desoto u.s. / Shelby Eatenton-Latcherie u.s.) is excited to be returning to the Hale stage. Some of her favorite past roles have been Nellie (South Pacific), Aurora (Sleeping Beauty), Bianca (Taming of the Shrew), Reggie (Murder in Paradise), and Cinderella (Into the Woods). When off-stage, Karissa’s most treasured way to spend time is with her amazing family. She also adores her job making magic for hundreds of children as a birthday party princess performer. "Thank you so much to the incredible cast, crew, and artistic team for this experience."

Virginia Olivieri
as Ouiser Boudreaux u.s. / Clairee Belcher u.s.

Virginia Olivieri (Ouiser Boudreaux u.s. / Clairee Belcher u.s.) is honored to be returning to the Hale stage. Olivieri has directed, performed, and produced work in Arizona, Florida, and Colorado. As an award-winning, critically acclaimed director and actor, some of her favorite shows and roles have been The Gazebo (Nell Nash), 5 Lesbians Eating A Quiche (Director), Oleanna (Director), Glengarry Glen Ross (Director), The Woman In Black (Director), Macbeth (Lady Macbeth). Thank you to the whole team at Hale as well as her ducks Dylan, Nick, Gabby, and partner Rick. 

Jere Van Patten
Director / Drum Eatenton

Jere Van Patten (Director) is an award-winning actor and director as well as the Fine Arts Director at ALA Queen Creek High School. Valley theatres he has worked with include Phoenix Theatre, Hale Centre Theatre, Southwest Shakespeare Company, East Valley Children's Theatre, Desert Stages Theatre, Desert Foothills Theatre, and others. He has his undergraduate degree in Theatre with an emphasis in Directing, and his graduate degrees are in Education & Training, and Theatre Directing. He lives in Mesa with his wife Allyson and three MVP's: Maggie, Max, and Mayzie.
