Tim Dietlein
as Ebenezer Scrooge

Tim started his theater career at the ripe old age of six months where he played the part of a baby. To this date, it was, and still is his finest performance. The theater bug bit him hard, and so Tim has been involved in theater, in one capacity or the other, for over 50 years. The last thirty-five years saw him working as a director and actor in the Los Angeles area where he was directly involved in hundreds of productions.

Joey Morrison
as Ebenezer Scrooge

Joey is thrilled to return again and work on this amazing story! He was most recently seen in last year's production of A Christmas Carol (Ebenezer Scrooge). Past Hale credits include: Annie, Cash on Delivery, Singin’ in the Rain, Big River, Newsies and The Andrews Brothers. Some of his favorite credits include: Assassins (The Proprietor, SCT), Romeo and Juliet (Friar Lawrence), Frankenstein (Hans Metz) and Rumors (Lenny). Adam Guinn
as Bob Cratchit

Adam is thrilled to be back for another year of A Christmas Carol. This story always gets him in the spirit of the season and he loves sharing it with the people that come as a tradition every year, and with the folks who are here for the very first time! Adam would like to thank Dave and Corrin for the opportunity to bring the character of Bob Crachit to life. Adam wishes everyone all the love and joy in the world this Holiday Season!

Cameron Rollins
as Fred / Businessman

Cameron is thrilled to reprise his role of Fred in A Christmas Carol! After ending his 4-year commitment to the Marine Corps, Cameron graduated from ASU with a degree in film. Since then, he has been entertaining and teaching health and fitness online via his stream at home (www.twitch.tv/quaylin). Past productions include Beauty and the Beast (Gaston) and Titanic: The Musical (Bruce Ismay).

Raymond Barcelo
as Marley / Old Joe

Raymond returns to HCTAZ for his 9th production of A Christmas Carol! He is so grateful to be apart of this holiday tradition. Recent Hale credits include: Holiday Inn (Danny), Cinderella (Sebastian), Beauty and the Beast (Cogsworth), The Little Mermaid (Scuttle/ Chef), The Music Man (Marcellus), The Addams Family (Fester) and Hello, Dolly (Vandergelder). Alaina is delighted to be performing once again in A Christmas Carol! Recent/Favorite Hale credits: The Hit (Susan), Hello, Dolly! (Dolly Levi), Chitty Chitty Bang Bang (Baroness), The Man with the Pointed Toes (Florence), and Little Shop of Horrors (Audrey). Alaina is originally from NYC and has Broadway, TV and film credits. Justin Howell
as Christmas Present / Businessman / Poulterer

Justin is honored to return to the Hale stage where he was most recently seen in My Fair Lady. Favorite credits include: The Tempest (Prospero) and Pippin (Charlemagne), both done during his time at the University of California, Los Angeles. This performance is dedicated to the memory of his mentor, Al Muller, and Dominee Muller-Kimball. “Happiest of Holidays to all, and many thanks and much love to Corrin, Dave, Lincoln and Cambrian.”

Bennett Allen Wood
as Young Scrooge / Robert

Bennett is thrilled to be celebrating Christmas in Hale’s most precious tradition: A Christmas Carol! This is Bennett’s twentieth Hale production and seventh this year. Some other credits include: Fly More Than You Fall (World Premiere, Broadway World Winner), RENT (Angel), Into the Woods (Jack) and Nevermore (Edgar Allan Poe). Bennett would love to thank his family, friends, and boyfriend for their endless love and support, Dave, Corrin, Cambrian, Lincoln, Kelly, Laurel and the rest of the cast and crew for spreading Christmas cheer to everyone. Gracie Gamble
as Belle / Narrator

Gracie has had the pleasure of working at Hale many times over the last year. Some favorite Hale credits are Fiddler on the Roof (Hodel) and See How They Run (Penelope). Gracie works at a memory care facility during the day and currently attends ASU online, working to attain her Masters Degree in History.

Jim Roehr
as Mr. Fezziwig / Charityman / Undertaker

Jim taught theater at Desert Mountain High School for 17 years and at Mountain View High School for 3 years before retiring. He has directed over 100 musicals and plays professionally, including Wait Until Dark (HCT). He also has a professional acting career, and has appeared in numerous professional productions, including: Chicago, Pump Boys and Dinettes, Guys and Dolls and Curtains! Recent credits include: Over the River and Through the Woods , Chaps, The Unsinkable Molly Brown and Cinderella at Hale Center Theater. He has a BA in Theater from BYU and a Master’s in Education from ASU.

Reece Harris
as Narrator / Charityman / Jenkins / Topper / Businessman

Reece is excited to be joining the cast of this wonderful production for the second year! He is grateful to you all for choosing to share in the Christmas spirit here together. Kira Galindo
as Mrs. Cratchit / Mrs. Fezziwig / Narrator / Charwoman

Previous Hale credits include: Fiddler on the Roof (Fruma-Sarah), My Fair Lady, Titanic and most recently, Cinderella. Kira has a Bachelor’s Degree in performance and has been working professionally for 20+ years. Some of her favorite credits include: Cinderella (Madame), Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson (Narrator), Bat Boy (Maredith), and Jesus Christ Super Star (Ensemble). Kira would love to thank her family and friends for their constant support and love, Mr. Mikus and General McArthur Hambrick, for being two of the most life-changing individuals, her rocket scientist husband “no spoilers”, and her mom. “Third role aisle seat we’re almost there.”

Amanda Valenzuela
as Fred's Wife / Ensemble

Amanda is thrilled to be back at Hale in A Christmas Carol! Recent credits include: Titanic at Hale Sandy, the world premiere of Million Dollar Quartet Christmas where she originated the role of Dyanne. You may have seen her in other Hale Gilbert main stage productions including: My Fair Lady (Eliza Doolittle), Beauty and the Beast (Babette), The Music Man (Marian Paroo), Brigadoon (Fiona MacLaren), The Addams Family (Morticia), Dirty Rotten Scoundrels (Christine), Hello, Dolly! (Irene Molloy) and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang (Truly Scrumptious). Amanda has her BFA in musical theater from the University of Arizona. She hopes you enjoy the show! 

Payten Christopher McLeod
as Dick Wilkins / Ensemble

Payten is so excited to debut in Hale’s A Christmas Carol for the first time! Performing with Hale since 2018, most recent Hale credits include: Newsies, Cinderella and Holiday Inn. Growing up at Childsplay, Payten began acting as a child and has performed all over the valley. Aurora is thrilled to be making her Hale debut. Some of her past credits include: Brighton Beach Memoirs (Nora, FHT), The Mousetrap (Mollie, PVCC) and Our Town (Mrs. Gibbs, NAU). Up next, you can catch her playing Portia in Southwest Shakespeare’s production of Merchant of Venice! She would like to thank all of her fellow artist friends for inspiring her daily.

Scotty Hagen
as Peter Cratchit / Sled Boy / Fezziwig Party

Scotty is super excited to be in A Christmas Carol for the second time. He loves theatre and hopes to do more in the future. He recently got home from performing in Nauvoo, Illinois. Before that he was in Godspell at Zao Theatre, and Beauty and the Beast with Showtune Productions. Scotty is grateful for all the opportunities and is excited for Christmas.

Sierra Ricks
as Belinda Cratchit / Little Fan

Sierra is so excited to be making her Hale debut! Recent credits include The Hunchback of Notre Dame (Florkia, VYT) and The World According to Snoopy (Sally Brown, VYT). Other: Annie (Annie, ACT) and Decendants: The Musical (Evie, Studio 111). She is thrilled to be a part of this production and thanks all of her family and friends for their never ending support, and a special thanks to her teachers and mentors who have helped her reach where she is today.

Zachary Nelson
as Doug Cratchit / Boy Scrooge / Beggar Boy / Boy in Courtyard

Charlotte Harris
as Carol Cratchit / Want / Sled Girl / Jenkins' Daughter

Charlotte is thrilled to reprise her role in A Christmas Carol this year! Charlotte has recently appeared in productions of Six: Teen Edition (Catherine of Aragon, LPA), Sleepy Hollow (Ensemble, EVCT), Annie Jr. (Annie, QCPAC) and Willy Wonka Jr. (Ensemble, QCPAC). She's grateful to everyone involved in this season's production, and to her friends and family for their continued support. 

Parker Harris
as Tiny Tim / Ignorance

Parker is so excited for his first performance at Hale! Parker's credits include: The Lion King Jr. (Young Simba, QCPAC), Willy Wonka Jr. (Charlie Bucket, QCPAC) and Madagascar Jr. (Rico, QCPAC). Parker would like to thank everyone at Hale for giving him the chance to appear in A Christmas Carol, including his fellow cast members who have made it a fantastic experience. David Dietlein
Director

David Hale Dietlein has been involved with theater ever since his early days in California where his parents and grandparents commandeered him onstage as a child actor. David is the Artistic Director of the Hale Theatre - Arizona. Originally from Los Angeles, David has produced over 300 stage productions. He has received many awards for his artistic achievements. This will be Dave’s 20th year directing A Christmas Carol at Hale Theatre. David and Corrin Dietlein own and operate the Hale Theatre.

Cambrian James
Choreographer

Cambrian James is well-known for his versatile staging throughout the Valley and nationally. He is a multi-award winning director and choreographer for Tarzan, The Wizard of Oz, Footloose, Damn Yankees and Dirty Rotten Scoundrels. Cambrian has enjoyed a long career as an actor and dancer in Annie (Daddy Warbucks), Crazy For You (Bobby Child), The King and I (The King) and Hairspray (Edna Turnblad).

Lincoln Wright
Music Director

Lincoln Wright was last seen on the Hale stage playing the piano for Always... Patsy Cline, Forever Plaid, and Daddy Long Legs. He has music directed over 50 shows at Hale, including Meet Me in St. Louis, West Side Story, Crazy For You, and Hairspray. When not at rehearsal, he's a lawyer with the Udall Shumway law firm in Mesa.
