Zac Bushman
as Beast

Zac is honored to be making his Hale Theatre debut in one of his all-time favorite musicals. He has previously been seen performing around the Valley in roles such as Capt. Phoebus (Hunchback of Notre Dame), Harold Hill (The Music Man), and John Utterson (Jekyll and Hyde). He is ecstatic to be joining such a superstar cast and tremendously grateful for the opportunity to view this story through a different lens. 

Cameron Rollins
as Gaston

Cameron is thrilled to return to the Hale Centre Theatre as Gaston! He is a two-time Arizoni award nominated actor (The Scarlet Pimpernel, Bright Star), Former United States Marine, and Video Editor/content creator, holding a bachelors in Film and Media Production from ASU. He wants to thank his wonderful cast and crew for their amazing work and his wife for keeping him on track with his schedule! 

James Brown Jr.
as Maurice

James Brown Jr. has been performing locally after relocating from Michigan in 2009. Recent credits: Gomez Addams (The Addams Family), Bob Enright (9 to 5) at MET, and Hugo Birch (Agatha Christie's Spider's Web; DST). Favorite roles: Jamie Wellerstein (The Last Five Years), Frank Butler (Annie Get Your Gun), Claude Butkowski (Hair), Lt. Sam Weinberg (A Few Good Men), Eugene Jerome (Broadway Bound), and Claudio (Much Ado About Nothing). He’s thrilled to work with this cast and crew, and thanks Claire, Max and Abby for their patience and support.

Joshua South
as Lefou

Joshua was recently seen in the Ensemble of Hale Centre Theatre’s productions of Bye-Bye Birdie, The Unsinkable Molly Brown, 42nd Street, and Sister Act. He is now taking on his first role in this fantastic production. A big thank you to Cambrian, Cathy, and the Dietleins as he is grateful for the opportunity to perform. Another special thank you to his mother for her love and support. 

Amanda Valenzuela
as Babette

Amanda is thrilled to be back after returning from Salt Lake City where she performed in Titanic. She was also recently seen in the world premiere of Million Dollar Quartet Christmas as Dyanne. Other Hale credits include: The Music Man (Marian Paroo), Brigadoon (Fiona MacLaren) The Addams Family (Morticia), Dirty Rotten Scoundrels (Christine), Hello Dolly (Irene Molloy), and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang (Truly Scrumptious). Raymond Barcelo
as Cogsworth

Raymond is a Los Angeles native where he appeared in Les Miserables (Thenardier) and Man of La Mancha. Favorite Hale credits include: The Andrews Brothers, The Little Mermaid (Scuttle/ Chef), The Addams Family (Fester), The Music Man (Marcellus), 39 Steps, Hello, Dolly! Ivana Martinic
as Madame De La Grande Bouche

Ivana Martinic is happy to be back at the Hale Theatre once more as Madame de la Grande Bouche. Her most recent engagements on this stage have been Gloria Rasputin and Mrs. Macafee u.s. in Bye Bye Birdie, Mrs. Cratchit in A Christmas Carol and Sister Mary Patrick in Sister Act. Her other favorite roles include Phoebe D'Ysquith (A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder), Cunegonda (Candide), Rapunzel (Into the Woods), and Sister Constance (Dialogues of the Carmelites). 

Brandt Norris
as Lumiere

Brandt Norris is thrilled to be back at Hale for his seventh show! Past credits include 42nd Street (Billy Lawlor), Pippin (Pippin), Newsies (Specs), and West Side Story (Tony). Regional Credits include; Mystic Pizza (Ensemble/Tim Understudy) and Footloose (Teen Ensemble) at the St. Louis Muny. He wants to thank his friends and family for always supporting him. He also wants to thank Cambrian, Cathy, Dave, and Corrin for giving him this special opportunity!

Kathleen Richards
as Mrs. Potts

Kathleen was last seen as Mrs. MacAfee in Bye Bye Birdie and Maggie Jones in 42nd Street. Previous HCTAZ appearances include Annie, Scarlet Pimpernel, Sister Act, Big River, Guys and Dolls, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, Mary Poppins, Nunsense, Footloose, The Music Man and Lucky Stiff. Other favorite local productions: The Sound of Music (PTC), and Hello Dolly! (MET). Benicio Bermudez
as Chip

Benicio “Beni” Bermudez is thrilled to be back after playing Randolph MacAfee in Bye Bye Birdie. Some favorite shows include: Disney The Lion King Jr, The Frog Prince, and The Little Mermaid with East Valley Children’s Theatre. When not singing and acting, Beni enjoys piano, puppeteering, making movies, and perfecting his best Elvis impersonation. He would like to thank Mom, Dad, Nico, Nora, Lee Meschino, Nichole Jensen, EVCT, Cambrian, Cathy, and the entire cast and crew at Hale. 

Cole Douglas Vinson
as Chip

Cole is thrilled to make his Hale debut as Chip, and is so grateful to everyone at Hale for this incredible opportunity. Cole's favorite past roles include Winthrop (The Music Man), Genie (Aladdin, Jr.), Sour Kangaroo (Seussical, Jr.), and Bruce (Matilda, Jr.) with Center Stage Academy of the Arts. He would like to thank CSA for helping him grow, not only as a performer but as a person! Cole would also like to thank his family, friends, and village for their love and support, but most of all, his mom and dad who work hard every day to make his dreams come true.

Ava Cusiter is thrilled to perform another musical here at Hale! Most recently, Ava was seen as Phyllis Dale (42nd Street) and Nancy (Bye Bye Birdie). Other credits: A Chorus Line (Judy Turner) and Saturday Night Fever (Doreen) at Laguna Playhouse. Ava is pursuing a BM in Music Theatre with a minor in Educational Studies, and a minor in Dance at ASU. Ava thanks her family and friends for the support, and her current ASU teachers for their guidance.

Brianna McClure
as Silly Girl / Ensemble / Belle u.s.

Brianna McClure is excited she’s back at Hale. Theatre credits include: The Phantom/ u.s. Janet in The Rocky Horror Show at TPTC, u.s. Jerusha in Daddy Long Legs (TPTC), and Minnie Fay in Hello, Dolly! at Hale. Brianna was recently a part of the inaugural cast of Disney’s newest cruise ship, and looks forward to returning after Beauty and the Beast. Brianna can’t thank her family enough for their support.

Diana Stapley
as Silly Girl / Ensemble

Diana is delighted to be back at Hale for her fifth show of the season alongside this fantastic cast and crew! Previous HCT credits include: 42nd Street, Bye Bye Birdie and A Christmas Carol. She was also seen as Samantha Brown in The Mad Ones at Mesa Community College. Outside of theatre, she is currently pursuing her Bachelor's Degree at ASU. Diana would like to thank everyone involved, with a special thanks to her family for their unending support.

Kale Burr
as Ensemble / Gaston u.s.

Kale Burr is thrilled to be in this tale as old as time! He was most recently seen at Hale as Young Scrooge (A Christmas Carol). Favorite Hale credits: Footloose, Life Could Be a Dream, and West Side Story. Other favorites: Newsies (Jack Kelly), RENT (Roger), and The Secret Garden (Dickon). Kale can be seen in ads with the NFL, Harkins Theaters, and Arlo Security. He expresses his endless gratitude to the cast, creative team, and friends and family for their never-ending support.

Vinny Chavez
as Ensemble / Lumiere u.s.

Vinny is happy to return to Hale after appearing in West Side Story (Bernardo, ariZoni nominee) and Me & My Girl (Bill, ariZoni winner). Other credits: SCT’s Assassins (Balladeer), Two Mile Hollow (Christopher), Silence the Musical (Ensemble), UCAT's Los Últimos Cinco Años (Jamie), Childsplay's Schoolhouse Rock Live (George), Ella Enchanted (Prince), TheaterWorks’ All Shook Up (Chad), A/C Theatre’s 21 Chump Street (Justin), N2T's Valhalla (Ludwig, ariZoni nominee). Vinny teaches theatre at Westwood High School.

Tyler Durfee
as Ensemble / Beast u.s.

Tyler has been performing his whole life in all sorts of capacities, from school choirs to community theater to family puppet shows. Some of his recent and favorite roles include Lucas (The Addams Family), Pulitzer (Newsies), Joseph (the one with the coat) and Cinderella's Prince (Into The Woods). He'd like to thank his parents for instilling a love of music and performing. Tyler is excited for his debut performance at Hale and looks forward to many more. "Enjoy the show!"

Gillian Elliott
as Ensemble / Mrs. Potts u.s. / Madame De La Grande Bouche u.s.

Gillian Elliott is thrilled to be back on the Hale stage! Past credits include: The Unsinkable Molly Brown (Ensemble, Hale), Into the Woods (Baker’s Wife, CGCC, Irene Ryan Semi Finalist), and Sweeney Todd (Mrs. Lovett , MCC). She would like to thank the entire Hale team for this opportunity, the cast for their love and her family for being her biggest supporters in life. 

Miles Hull
as Ensemble

Miles is excited to make his Hale debut! He was last seen as a 2018 National High School Musical Theatre “Jimmy” Awards nominee held in NYC for his role as Bert (Mary Poppins). Prior roles include: Orin Scrivello (Little Shop of Horrors) and Lucas Beineke (The Addams Family). Miles thanks his wife, Taylor, for her support on and off of the stage, for regularly offering dance instruction, and for being the best friend a guy could ask for!

Taylor Hull
as Ensemble

Taylor is thrilled to make Hale debut alongside her husband, Miles! She’s been dancing for 19 years and has choreographed her fairshare of musicals; most recently she co-choreographed The Addams Family (MCC) with the fabulous Taryn Tidwell. Taylor has also been in Little Shop of Horrors, Mary Poppins, Newsies, and Beauty and the Beast. Taylor would like to thank her husband, Miles, for always supporting her dreams and being the perfect partner - both in life and on the dance floor!

Joseph Strode
as Ensemble / Lefou u.s.

Joseph is originally from Mississippi where he got his BFA in Musical Theatre from the University of Mississippi. His past credits include: The Little Mermaid, and Footloose at Hale Center Theatre, The Secret Garden, and Little Women at Places Productions, Chicago, Assassins, Macbeth, and Hair at Ole Miss Theatre. He has also performed at the historic Grand Ole Opry and Carnegie Hall. He would like to thank his family and fiancé for their unbelievable support. 

Bennett Allen Wood
as Ensemble

Bennett is ecstatic to return to the castle in the Enchanted Forest this summer! Recently Hale credits: Flounder (The Little Mermaid) and Jeter/Ren u.s. (Footloose). Other credits: Fly More Than You Fall (World Premiere, Broadway World Winner), RENT (Angel), Into the Woods (Jack), and Nevermore (Edgar Allan Poe). Bennett thanks his family, friends, and boyfriend for their endless love and support, and Cambrian, Cathy, and the rest of the cast and crew involved in making us “Human Again”. “Bonjour!”

Kristie Zamora
as Ensemble / Babette u.s.

Kristie Zamora Becker is thrilled to make her Hale debut. With memorable roles like Margot (Legally Blonde), Sandy (Grease) and Sour Kangaroo (Seussical), Kristie's versatility on stage and in film captivates audiences. She’s also an accomplished choreographer, having lent her creative flair to productions like The Addams Family and In the Heights. She is grateful for the support of her father, family, friends, and Dani’s Agency. Kristie is excited to share her passion for theater with audiences at Hale Theatre.

Jere Van Patten
as Cogsworth u.s. / Maurice u.s.

Jere Van Patten is an award-winning actor and director represented by the Leighton Agency. He has his degree in Theatre Directing and Masters Degree in Education and Directing. He has previously worked with: Phoenix Theatre, Southwest Shakespeare Company, East Valley Children's Theatre, Hale, Theatre Works, Desert Foothills Theatre, and others. Jere is the Fine Arts Director at American Leadership Academy's Queen Creek High School. He lives in Mesa with his wife, Allyson, and three MVP's: Maggie, Max, and Mayzie.

Nicole Knox
as Female Swing

Nicole Knox is thrilled to be back at Hale Centre Theatre! Previously she was seen in Hairspray (Amber VonTussle), The Little Mermaid, and The Secret Garden. Nicole is an Arizoni Nominated Music Director and Choreographer for youth musicals. She loves teaching dance and voice to passionate students. Nicole will be moving to NYC in September to pursue her dreams! “Thanks to my family, the Dietliens, Cambrian, & Cathy."

Jeremy Cruz was most recently seen in the Ensemble of 42nd Street. Cambrian James
Director / Choreographer

Cambrian James is well-known for his versatile staging throughout the Valley and nationally. He is a multi-award winning director and choreographer for Tarzan, The Wizard of Oz, Footloose, Damn Yankees and Dirty Rotten Scoundrels. Cambrian has enjoyed a long career as an actor and dancer in Annie (Daddy Warbucks), Crazy For You (Bobby Child), The King and I (the King) and Hairspray (Edna Turnblad).

Cathy Hauan
Music Director

Dr. Cathy Hauan recently retired from Mesa Community College, where she taught voice and musical theatre. There she served as conductor/pianist for 65 musicals since 2001. Favorites include Parade, Sweeney Todd, The Secret Garden, and Beauty and the Beast. She has 2 ariZoni Awards. Cathy received her DMA in Vocal Performance from ASU. Onstage she has appeared in opera, oratorio, and music theater. Favorite roles include Sister Mary Amnesia (Nunsense) and as a little old lady in The Producers (which she was also conducting).
