Nick Gunnell is excited to be back at Hale Theatre! Past credited shows include The Hunchback of Notre Dame (Quasimodo), A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder (Monty Navarro), Cabaret (Ernst Ludwig), Mary Poppins (Bert), Big Fish (Will Bloon). Nick would like to thank his beautiful wife, Amber, for the unlimited support and love she gives selflessly every day.
Amanda is thrilled to be back at Hale! Recent credits include Titanic at Hale Sandy; the world premiere of Million Dollar Quartet Christmas where she originated the role of Dyanne. Hale Gilbert Mainstage Productions include: My Fair Lady, Beauty and the Beast, The Music Man, Brigadoon, The Addams Family, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, Hello Dolly, and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. Amanda has her BFA in musical theater from the University of Arizona. “Thank you Dave, Corrin, Cambrian and Cathy!”
Cameron is thrilled to return for his third production of The Scarlet Pimpernel as Chauvelin (previously playing Dewhurst 2007, 2018)! He is a former United States Marine turned actor after completing his bachelor's degree in film at Arizona State University. Previous productions at the Hale Theatre include Bright Star (Jimmy Ray Dobbs), Beauty and the Beast (Gaston), and Titanic The Musical (Bruce Ismay).
Joseph is originally from Mississippi where he got his BFA in musical theatre from the University of Mississippi. He currently teaches drama, voice, and dance at East Valley High School. He is also on the board of directors for Places Productions. His past credits include Anything Goes, Newsies, Titanic, My Fair Lady, Bye Bye Birdie, Beauty and the Beast, The Little Mermaid, and Footloose at Hale Centre Theatre. He would like to thank his family and partner for their unbelievable support!
Nikki is delighted to be back at Hale where was last seen as Mary Martin-of-Tours in Sister Act. Other recent Valley appearances include Ragtime (Emma Goldman), The Little Mermaid (Ursula) and MCC's Sister Act (Mother Superior). Thank you, Cathy, Cambrian, and the Dietleins for the opportunity to tell this story with such an incredible cast and crew. She sends endless love to her husband, children, family, and friends. La vie est belle!
Justin M. Howell is honored to return to the Hale stage. Justin was last seen performing in Anything Goes. His favorite roles include Prospero in The Tempest and Charlemagne and Pippin, both during his time at UCLA. As always, his performance is dedicated to the memory of his mentors, Al Muller and Harvey Jordan. Many thanks for coming to the show, and much love to Cambrian, Corrin and Dave, and Pabs!
Raymond is overjoyed to return to the Hale stage in The Scarlet Pimpernel! Evan Kaushesh is so happy to be a part of this very talented cast in the Scarlet Pimpernel. Evan made his Hale debut this season in Anything Goes (Dippy), and is grateful to be back. Declan Skaggs is thrilled to be a part of his third production at Hale Centre Theatre. Declan was recently seen in Anything Goes at Hale, where he played the role of Spit. Some of his other roles include Desert Stages' Spring Awakening (Melchior), Greasepaint's Something Rotten (Nick Bottom), and In Desert Stages' Dog Sees God (CB). Ryan Monaghan is thrilled to return to Hale Centre Theatre in The Scarlet Pimpernel! You may have seen him here last season in productions of Cinderella, Titanic, and Fiddler on the Roof, as well as others in seasons past! A Graduate of Central Washington University’s Musical Theater BFA program, Ryan has performed throughout the Northwest, in performances such as Little Women (Laurie), Dogfight (Boland), and West Side Story (A-Rab). He is eternally grateful to his loving wife and family for their support!
Joshua was recently seen in Camelot (Dinadan) at the Hale Centre Theatre. Krista is excited to be returning to Hale Centre Theatre. Originally from the Pacific Northwest, Krista is a graduate of the BFA Theatre program at Central Washington University. Past Hale Centre Theatre credits include The Unsinkable Molly Brown (Princess DeLong) and Mary Poppins (Ensemble). She has also performed with many local theaters including The Phoenix Theatre Company, Showtune Productions, and TheaterWorks.
Brianna McClure is an ASU BA graduate with experience at Phoenix Theatre as well as multiple roles aboard Disney Cruise Line. Hale Credits include: Anything Goes (Hope Harcourt), Holiday Inn (Daphne), Hello, Dolly (Minnie Fay), Beauty and the Beast (Silly Girl/ Belle u.s.), Cinderella (Ella u.s.), and A Christmas Carol (Topper’s Girl ). Jason Irr is excited to be back at Hale Centre Theatre for his fourth show! Previously appearing in Titanic (Jim Farrell), Anything Goes (Ensemble), and Camelot (Lionel). Jason has also appeared with Mesa Encore Theatre's Bright Star (Billy Cane u.s.), Grease Paints' American Idiot (Will), and Mesa Community Colleges' Something Rotten (Nostradamus). For fun, Jason writes plays and music, plays instruments, and enjoys traveling, museums, and reading.
Ava is thrilled to be in another production here at Hale! Some of her favorite Hale credits include Beauty and the Beast (Silly Girl) and Newsies (Splasher). Other credits include A Chorus Line (Judy Turner) and Saturday Night Fever (Doreen) at The Laguna Playhouse. Ava recently graduated Arizona State University with a BM in Music Theatre with minors in Educational Studies and Dance at Arizona State University. Cambrian James is well-known for his versatile staging throughout the Valley and nationally. He is a multi-award winning director and choreographer for Tarzan, The Wizard of Oz, Footloose, Damn Yankees and Dirty Rotten Scoundrels. Cambrian has enjoyed a long career as an actor and dancer in Annie (Daddy Warbucks), Crazy For You (Bobby Child), The King and I (The King) and Hairspray (Edna Turnblad).
Dr. Cathy Hauan recently retired from Mesa Community College, where she taught voice and musical theatre. There she served as conductor/pianist for 65 musicals since 2001. Favorites include Parade, Sweeney Todd, The Secret Garden, and Beauty and the Beast. She has 2 ariZoni Awards. Cathy received her DMA in Vocal Performance from ASU. Onstage she has appeared in opera, oratorio, and music theater. Favorite roles include Sister Mary Amnesia (Nunsense) and as a little old lady in The Producers (which she was also conducting).
