Brandt Norris
as Joseph

Brandt is thrilled to be back on the Hale stage for his 16th show with the theater! Past credits include: 42nd Street (Billy Lawlor), Beauty and The Beast (Lumiere), SH-BOOM! Life Could Be A Dream (Wally), and My Fair Lady (Freddy Eynsford-Hill). Regional Credits include: Mystic Pizza (Ensemble/Tim Understudy) at the Engeman and Footloose (Teen Ensemble) at the St. Louis Muny. He wants to thank his family and friends for always supporting him. He also wants to thank Cambrian, Tyler, Dave, and Corrin for giving him this special opportunity!

Michala Montaño
as Narrator

Michala is thrilled to be returning to the Hale stage, fulfilling this dream role! Jim Roehr
as Jacob / Potiphar

Jim taught theater at Desert Mountain High School for 17 years and at Mountain View High School for 3 years before retiring. He has directed over 100 musicals and plays professionally, including Wait Until Dark (HCT). He also has a professional acting career, and has appeared in numerous professional productions, including: Chicago, Pump Boys and Dinettes, Guys and Dolls and Curtains! Recent credits include: Over the River and Through the Woods , Chaps, The Unsinkable Molly Brown and Cinderella at Hale Center Theater. He has a BA in Theater from BYU and a Master’s in Education from ASU.

Zac Bushman
as Pharaoh

Zac is thrilled to be returning to HCT for his fourth show. He has previously been seen in Beauty and the Beast (Beast), Chess (Freddy) and The Hunchback of Notre Dame (Captain Phoebus). "Big thanks to Dave, Corrin, Cambrian, and Tyler!"

Truman Regard-Whipple
as Reuben

Truman is honored to be performing again on the Hale stage. He was most recently seen in Hale's productions of Newsies (Crutchie), My Fair Lady (Ensemble), A Christmas Carol (Dick Wilkins) and Fiddler on the Roof (Mendel). He is excited to bring his best to this role while performing alongside such a wonderful cast, crew, and directing team.

Joshua South
as Simeon

Joshua is incredibly thrilled to open the season with this absolute dream of a show! He was most recently seen last season in HCT’s productions of Cinderella and Newsies (Race). Other favorite credits at HCT include: Titanic (Hartley), Fiddler on the Roof (Fyedka), Beauty and the Beast (LeFou) and 42nd Street. He is thankful for his family, friends and cast-mates for their support.

Trevon Powell
as Judah

Trevon hails from the great city of Chicago. Favorite credits include: Tarzan: The Musical (Terk), Hairspray (Seaweed J. Stubs), Sweeney Todd (Beadle Bamford), The Little Mermaid (Sebastian), Sister Act: The Musical (Eddie Souther), Next to Normal (Dr. Madden), The Andrews Brothers (Lawrence Andrews), The Unsinkable Molly Brown (Christmas Morgan), Something's Afoot (Nigel Rancour) and Titanic: The Musical (Lightoller). He has also directed Sweeney Todd (Greasepaint) and works in costume and designing at various local theatres. He is partnered with the Tempe History Museum in creating historical costumes for historical interpretation work. He also loves classic music, sings opera and plans to move to NYC. Trevon also loves ice cream. Get him Ice cream.

William Lovell
as Baker / Natphtali

William is so excited to be returning to the Hale stage in this amazing production. William is a 17 year-old senior taking classes at MCC. He is a national award-winning singer and some of his favorite performances include: The Unsinkable Molly Brown (Ensemble, HCT), The SpongeBob Musical (Patrick Starr, VYT), and Seussical the Musical (Horton the Elephant, VYT).

Joseph Strode
as Butler / Dan / Reuben u.s. / Simeon u.s.

Joseph is originally from Mississippi where he got his BFA in Musical Theatre from the University of Mississippi. He currently teaches drama, voice, and dance at East Valley High School and is also on the board of directors for Places Productions. His past credits include: Newsies, Titanic, My Fair Lady, Bye Bye Birdie, Beauty and the Beast, The Little Mermaid, and Footloose at Hale Center Theatre, The Secret Garden and Little Women at Places Productions, Chicago, Assassins, Macbeth and Hair at Ole Miss Theatre. He would like to thank his family and fiancé for their unbelievable support!

Archer Cox
as Levi / Judah u.s.

Archer is so happy to be making his Hale debut! Archer has previously done shows at State 48 Theater Company, but is so excited to be branching out. Archer would like to give a special thanks to Karli Kemper for always supporting him and encouraging him to try out for this show.

Reece Harris

Albert is happy to be performing in another show at Hale! He was last seen on the Hale stage in Cinderella (Ensemble Swing) and Newsies (Albert). He could also have been seen in The Three Musketeers (Bonacieux, EVCT). Before acting, Albert performed as a dancer in The Spirit Of Christmas with Christian Dance Company for 6 years. He’d like to thank friends, family, and teachers for everything.

Declan Skaggs
as Asher / Butler u.s.

Declan is thrilled to be a part of this production in his Hale debut. He has been in many shows all around the valley since he was 7. Declan was recently seen in Spring Awakening (Melchior, Desert Stages), Something Rotten (Nick Bottom, Greasepaint) and Dog Sees God (CB, Desert Stages). He would like to thank Cambrian, Tyler, and the stellar creative team and cast for this amazing experience.

Bennett Allen Wood
as Zebulun

Bennett is ecstatic to be returning to Egypt in the show that started it all fourteen years ago! This is Bennett’s eighteenth Hale production and fifth this year. Some other credits include: Fly More Than You Fall (World Premiere, Broadway World Winner), RENT (Angel), Into the Woods (Jack) and Nevermore (Edgar Allan Poe). Sarah is originally from St. Louis but moved to Phoenix in 2019. She has performed around the valley in various productions including: The Marvelous Wonderettes (Betty Jean), 42nd Street (Anytime Annie), Dirty Rotten Scoundrels (Jolene), and most recently, Newsies (Mush / Katherine Plumber u.s.). Congrats to the cast, and a super special thank you to Ponce for being the most wonderful and supportive husband a theatre girl could ask for. 

Ava Cusiter
as Wife

Go Go Go Ava! Ava is thrilled to perform another musical on the Hale stage! Her favorite Hale credits include 42nd Street (Phyllis Dale) and Newsies (Splasher). Other credits include: A Chorus Line (Judy Turner) and Saturday Night Fever (Doreen) at The Laguna Playhouse. Ava is currently pursuing a BM in Music Theatre with minors in Educational Studies and Dance at Arizona State University. Ava thanks her family and friends for the support. @avacusiter

Gabrielle Gernon
as Wife

Gabrielle is delighted to be performing in her first show at Hale! Gabrielle attends Arizona State University pursuing her Bachelor’s in Music Theatre Performance. Favorite credits include: Into the Woods (Lucinda) and The Pirates of Penzance (Chorus). Most recently, she participated in a workshop production of the new musical, My Man Godfrey at Arizona Theatre Company. Gabrielle would like to thank her family and friends for all of their support!

Evelyn Humphrey
as Wife

Evelyn is thrilled to be performing in her first show at Hale. She has had the privilege to perform in several productions at ALAQCHS including Anything Goes (Hope) and Holiday Inn (Lila) along with Robin Elowe at Studio R Ballet. Thanks to parents, family, instructors, teachers, and friends for their wonderful support.

Josephine Maldonado
as Wife

Josephine is excited to be back on the Hale stage! Previous HCT credits include: Bye Bye Birdie (Ensemble), Sister Act (Ensemble), Footloose (Wendy Jo) and Freaky Friday (Hannah). Other theatre credits include: YAGMCB (Lucy, MET), Rent (Mimi, DST & SCC), and The Hunchback of Notre Dame (Esmeralda, MCC). Maddie Sue Miller
as Wife

Maddie Sue is a sophomore at Chandler High School and is thrilled to be back on the Hale stage! She last appeared on the HCT stage in Annie (Molly). Recent credits include: Willy Wonka (Ensemble, VYT), Sweeney Todd (Ensemble, AYT) and Footloose (Wendy Jo, CHS). Olivia Porter
as Wife

Olivia is thrilled to be back at Hale with this amazing cast! She was last seen on the HCT stage in Charley’s Aunt and The Addams Family. Favorite past credits include: Guys and Dolls (Sarah Brown), The Addams Family (Alice Beineke), Seussical, Cash on Delivery and All Shook Up. Diana Stapley
as Wife / Potiphar's Wife u.s. / Vocal Captain

Diana is delighted to be back at Hale in one of her all time favorite shows! She was most recently seen in Cinderella (Ensemble). Other HCT credits include: Steel Magnolias (Shelby), Newsies, A Christmas Carol, Beauty and the Beast and 42nd Street. Outside of theater, she is currently pursuing her Bachelor's at ASU. Lillian Thelen
as Wife

Lillian is beyond excited to make her Hale debut! Lilly is a double major in Music Theatre Performance and Finance at Arizona State University. Her most recent performances include: B3’s Festival of Shorts (Liz and Minnie) and The Hunchback of Notre Dame at Theater Works. Carlo Sanchez
as Jacob u.s. / Potiphar u.s.

Carlo is excited to make his debut at Hale as an understudy. He has been singing his whole life and has always dreamt of being in the theater. Carlo extends his gratitude to Dave and Corrin Dietlein, Cambrian James and Tyler Thompson for this incredible opportunity. He also wishes to thank his wife, Stefani, for her unwavering love and support. Carlo is honored to join the talented cast and Hale Theater community.

Cameron Rollins
as Pharaoh u.s.

Cameron is thrilled to return to the Hale stage! He is a two-time Arizoni nominated actor (The Scarlet Pimpernel and Bright Star), former United States Marine, and video editor/content creator. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Film and Media Production from ASU. He wants to thank his wonderful cast and crew for their amazing work and his wife for keeping him on track with his schedule!

Payten McLeod
as Ensemble Swing

Payten is back at Hale, this time for his first experience as a swing! This will be Payten’s tenth Hale production, with most recent credits including: Fiddler on the Roof, My Fair Lady, Newsies, and Cinderella. Growing up at Childsplay, Payten has been acting since he was four around the valley. Camryn Taylor
as Ensemble Swing

Camryn is thrilled to be making her Hale debut in one of her favorite shows! She has been involved in theater from a very young age and has loved doing shows around the valley for several years. Some of her past credits include: Anything Goes (Reno Sweeney), Best Christmas Pageant Ever (Grace Bradley- NYA winner) and The Drowsy Chaperone (Janet van de Graaf). She would like to thank everyone at Hale for this amazing opportunity.

Cambrian James
Director / Choreographer

Cambrian James is well-known for his versatile staging throughout the Valley and nationally. He is a multi-award winning director and choreographer for Tarzan, The Wizard of Oz, Footloose, Damn Yankees and Dirty Rotten Scoundrels. Cambrian has enjoyed a long career as an actor and dancer in Annie (Daddy Warbucks), Crazy For You (Bobby Child), The King and I (The King) and Hairspray (Edna Turnblad).

Tyler Thompson
Music Director

Tyler loves Hale and is excited to be a Music Director this season! He regularly music directs throughout the valley, including recent productions at Scottsdale Desert Stages Theatre (Something Rotten and Beauty and the Beast), Valley Youth Theatre (Junie B. Jones and Winnie the Pooh: A Christmas Tale), and Actors Youth Theatre (Big Fish and The Drowsy Chaperone). An actor as well, Thompson was recently seen in Titanic (Thomas Andrews, HCT). Thompson teaches voice at Grand Canyon University and serves as a pastor at Christ’s Community Church!
