Tim started his theater career at the ripe old age of six months where he played the part of a baby. To this date, it was, and still is his finest performance. The theater bug bit him hard, and so Tim has been involved in theater, in one capacity or the other, for over 50 years. The last thirty-five years saw him working as a director and actor in the Los Angeles area where he was directly involved in hundreds of productions.
Dr. Clay Sanderson is thrilled to join this incredible cast! Credits include: The Jury Experience with Fever, Mary Poppins, Kinky Boots, An American in Paris, An Iliad, Twelfth Night, The Merchant of Venice, Hamlet, The Diary of Anne Frank, and True West. Dr. Sanderson holds a Ph.D. in Theatre from ASU and is the drama teacher at Tempe Preparatory Academy. He sends his love to his wife Heidi and daughter Marisol.
Cameron is excited to return to the Hale Centre Theatre for his 5th Christmas Carol! After ending his 4-year commitment to the Marine Corps, Cameron graduated from ASU with a degree in film. Since then, he has been working as a content creator on YouTube, acting in various productions, and running his own videography business. Previous favorite Hale credits include: Bright Star (Jimmy Ray Dobbs), Beauty and the Beast (Gaston), Titanic (Bruce Ismay), Camelot (King Arthur), The Scarlet Pimpernel (Chauvelin), and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (Mr. Salt).
Justin is honored to return to the Hale stage. Justin was last seen as Roscoe Dexter in Singin’ in the Rain. Favorite roles include Prospero in The Tempest and Charlemagne in Pippin, both during his time at UCLA. As always, Justin dedicates this to his mentors Al Muller and Harvey Jordan. Amanda is thrilled to be performing back at the Hale! Recent credits include Lina Lamont in Singing in the Rain; Titanic at Hale Sandy; the world premiere of Million Dollar Quartet Christmas where she originated the role of Dyanne. Most recent Hale Theatre credits: The Scarlet Pimpernel (Marguerite St. Just), My Fair Lady (Eliza Doolittle), Beauty and the Beast (Babette),The Music Man (Marian Paroo), and Brigadoon (Fiona MacLaren). Amanda has her BFA in musical theater from the University of Arizona. Thank you Dave, Corrin, Cambrian and Lincoln! She hopes you enjoy the show!
Trevon hails from the great city of Chicago. Favorite credits include: Tarzan: The Musical (Terk), Hairspray (Seaweed J. Stubs), Sweeney Todd (Beadle Bamford), The Little Mermaid (Sebastian), Sister Act: The Musical (Eddie Souther), Next to Normal (Dr. Madden), The Andrews Brothers (Lawrence Andrews), The Unsinkable Molly Brown (Christmas Morgan), Something's Afoot (Nigel Rancour) and Titanic: The Musical (Lightoller). He has also directed Sweeney Todd (Greasepaint) and works in costume and designing at various local theatres. He is partnered with the Tempe History Museum in creating historical costumes for historical interpretation work. He also loves classic music, sings opera and plans to move to NYC. Joshua is happy to reprise his role for HCT’s holiday classic. Previously seen in Singin’ in the Rain (Cosmo Brown), Camelot (Dinadan), Newsies (Race), Beauty and the Beast (Lefou), The Scarlet Pimpernel (Elton), and Joseph…Dreamcoat (Simeon) at Hale Centre Theatre Arizona. Other appearances include Anastasia, Anything Goes, and Brigadoon. Gracie has had the pleasure of working at Hale since 2023. Some shows included in her time on the Hale stage are Fiddler on the Roof (Hodel), See How They Run (Penelope) and Camelot (Guinevere). Gracie works at an elementary school as an IA during the day and currently attends ASU online, working attain her bachelors degree in History.
Diana is thrilled to return for her 4th year in Hale’s A Christmas Carol! She was most recently seen in the ensemble of Anastasia. Other HCTAZ credits include: Steel Magnolias (Shelby), The Scarlet Pimpernel, Anything Goes, Holiday Inn, Newsies, and more. Offstage, she recently married her favorite scene partner, Truman Regard! She extends gratitude to the creative team and her family for their endless love and support.
Ali is thrilled to be spending the holidays here at Hale in her first A Christmas Carol! Hale credits: Cinderella (Gabrielle), Cash on Delivery (Brenda Dixon) and Titanic (Ensemble). Other credits: Freaky Friday (Ellie Blake) and Once Upon a Mattress (Winnifred). Huge thanks to Dave and Corrin, Cambrian, Lincoln, her family, cast and mi amore for everything. Jim is thrilled to be back at the Hale Centre Theatre in A Christmas Carol again. He was last seen in Crazy for You at Don Bluth’s Front Row Theater and Fagan in Oliver! at Queen Creek Performing Arts. Jim has appeared in numerous local and regional productions, including Chicago, Guys and Dolls, Curtains!, The Unsinkable Molly Brown, Chaps, and Cinderella. He has a BA in Theater from BYU and a Master’s in Education from ASU. He taught theater at Desert Mountain High School in Scottsdale for 17 years and at Mountain View High School in Mesa for 3 years.
Aaron is so honored to be a part of such a timeless production with so many talented people. He was most recently seen on the Hale stage in Anastasia. Bonnie Beus Romney has been seen on this stage in Something’s Afoot (Miss Tweed), The Rainmaker (Lizzie Curry), Diary of Anne Frank (Mrs. Frank) and this makes her 8th production of A Christmas Carol. Regional credits include: Waitress (Dawn), The Book of Will (Alice Heminges) and The Hello Girls (Bertha Hunt), A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Puck), Hamlet (Hamlet), and The Tempest (Ariel).
Maddie is thrilled to return to the Hale stage! Previous HCT shows include Anything Goes (Angel), Joseph…Dreamcoat (Wives) and Annie (Molly). Maddie is a 16 year old Sophomore. When not performing, she loves playing the piano and co-leading her young women’s group at church. She thanks her family and friends for their support and Dave, Corinne, Cambrian, Lincoln and Tyler for giving her this opportunity. Thank you to the cast and crew and to Brie, you are amazing and I love you.
Albert is glad to be back on the Hale stage! He was most recently seen as Damian Hubbard in Mean Girls at the Stagebrush theatre. Favorite Hale credits include: Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (Mike Teavee), Newsies (Albert), and Joseph...Dreamcoat (Benjamin). “Thank you to all family, friends and teachers for getting where I am today!”
Sierra is a sophomore at Desert Vista High School and is delighted to be returning to Hale Centre Theatre this season. She has appeared in numerous regional, community, and youth productions throughout the Valley, with favorite roles including Mean Girls: The Musical (Regina George) and The World According to Snoopy (Sally Brown). Other credits include The Hunchback of Notre Dame (Florika) and Annie (Annie). Beyond the stage, Sierra is actively involved in choir and community service. She extends heartfelt gratitude to her teachers, mentors, and coaches for their guidance and encouragement, and offers special thanks to her family and friends for their unwavering love and support.
Parker Harris is happy to be back for another year of A Christmas Carol! Parker has recently appeared in Oliver! (Oliver), The Jungle Book Kids (Mowgli), Willy Wonka, Jr. (Charlie Bucket), and The Lion King, Jr. (Young Simba), The Underground Adventures of a Carrot and Potato (Blaze). Many thanks to his family, friends, and teachers for all the love and support!
Avenly is thrilled to return to the stage in A Christmas Carol! She loved performing this role last year and is excited to bring Carol’s warmth and spirit to life once again. Previous show include Anastasia (Young Anya) and The SpongeBob Musical (Sandy Cheeks). When she’s not on stage, Avenly enjoys singing, cooking, and spending time with friends and family. She would like to thank Hale Centre Theatre, her castmates, and her family for their love and support!
Axton is 8 years old and thrilled to make his Hale Centre Theatre debut! He has performed in the SpongeBob the Musical (Ensemble), Oliver! (Ripper), and in The Jungle Book (Old Monkey). After seeing his first musical, Newsies, at HCTAZ, Axton dreamed of performing here. He is grateful to Ms. Molly, Satyam, and Ms. Sarah for believing in him, cheering him on, and helping him grow as a performer.
Jaden is very excited to make his Hale debut! He’s recently been seen in Little Shop of Horrors (Orin Scrivello), Crazy For You (Ensemble) and Annie (Rooster). Some of his favorite credits include: The World According To Snoopy (Linus) and Peter and the Starcatcher (Black Stache). Jaden sends love to his friends and family, and to his wonderful girlfriend for her endless support! “Merry Christmas!”
Scarlett Hale is thrilled to make her debut at Hale Center Theatre AZ. She has recently performed in Matlida Jr. (Mrs. Phelps) and Willy Wonka Jr. (Mrs. Beaureguarde). She is in 9th grade and participates in the school newspaper and theatre program. She currently studies Tap and Jazz at Ballet Etudes and enjoys art in her free time. Many thanks to Dave and Corrin for the opportunity!
David Hale Dietlein has been involved with theater ever since his early days in California where his parents and grandparents commandeered him onstage as a child actor. David is the Artistic Director of the Hale Theatre - Arizona. Originally from Los Angeles, David has produced over 300 stage productions. He has received many awards for his artistic achievements. This will be Dave’s 23rd year directing A Christmas Carol at Hale Theatre. David and Corrin Dietlein own and operate the Hale Theatre.
Cambrian James is well-known for his versatile staging throughout the Valley and nationally. He is a multi-award winning director and choreographer for Tarzan, The Wizard of Oz, Footloose, Damn Yankees and Dirty Rotten Scoundrels. Cambrian has enjoyed a long career as an actor and dancer in Annie (Daddy Warbucks), Crazy For You (Bobby Child), The King and I (The King) and Hairspray (Edna Turnblad).
Lincoln is excited to return for his 14th year as music director of Hale's wonderful A Christmas Carol. Recent Hale shows include Singin' in the Rain, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Newsies, Cinderella, Life Could Be a Dream, and Bye, Bye, Birdie. Thanks to Dave, Corrin, Laurel, Cambrian, and these incredible actors for making this a festive experience!
